Judah turns 1

Wow, I can’t believe a whole year has passed nearly since I have last posted anything!  I am ever so sorry to not have shared anything on here.  Thankfully for FB, I have most things documented!!

I wonder if I can go through the year??  =)

September 2013, of course Judah was born, Micah turned 9, my mom and dad came to visit and it was a beautiful month! (pictures below on last years post!)

October 2013: My high school friend Tracy and her husband Herb were in England for a wedding and stopped in for a visit (from Hong Kong!)

Can’t think of much else that happened until the end of the month when we went over to Belfast for my SIL’s wedding!

November 2013, the wedding!  The boys (minus 2) dressed to the nines!

I was one of the 4 lovely bridesmaids =)

And we celebrated Judah’s first Thanksgiving where most of us had the stomach bug at some point!

And we celebrated Ezra’s 4th birthday!!

December 2013:  Judah in all his cuteness! And our family photo for our prayer cards.

And I’ll end this here as I won’t get it all finished in one go anyway!

Andy’s first cycle sportive event!

Wednesday night Andy decided to enter himself into a cycling race. In Lincoln. 2+ hours away…. I said, Ok, whatever! We decided that we needed to all go, since it was his first one! So, up we got at 4:30ish to leave as close to 5 as we could! Plopped the boys in the car in their PJs and away we went. We got to Lincoln about 7:30, Andy changed and then left to the registration. We met him there, and waited and waited. The line was super long as one of the computers decided to not work! Eventually he finished and was ready to go. The racers could start anywhere between 8 and 9, so it wasn’t a standard race, just went by time and for Andy it was just to see what he could do! The course was 55miles (and another was 96m) so we figured on just over 3 hours, which is what he has done 50m in a few weeks ago. So the boys and I set off to walk into Lincoln and window shop. It was fun. Its a beautiful city built on a steep hill. It had a castle, a cathedral and lovely old buildings and boutique shops and tea rooms! What we didn’t count on was a puncture that wasn’t easily fixed, having to borrow an inner tube from another cyclist. Nearly an hour wait all in all. =( But that’s ok!! Here is our day in pictures. Enjoy!

he is now 14lbs and 9oz =) he’s dropped on the percentile rankings to 9% but no one seemed worried, which was fine by me! he is eating porridge sometimes twice a day. will start on the fruits and veggies this next week. probably start cooking on saturday when i can. he has a bottle a formula a day as well. he is smiley and active. he loves his jumperoo =) may 010

he doesn’t particularly love his bumbo chair though…(no picture). i don’t give him a bath in his tummy tub anymore as he was just standing up all the time in it and making it near impossible to wash him!! but its a fun safe place to let him si, lol!
