last week

august 008
we have been busy and not so busy at the same time this past week. monday night we were at jon and anthea’s (see photos from last post). tuesday and wednesday were wet days though we managed to get out wednesday afternoon to the clent hills.
silly mommy wore her flip-flops and noah didn’t want to get muddy either, although he was already quite muddy =)

thursday was out ‘date’ afternoon. we dropped the boys off down with anthea, esther, sarah and jo! we went to see harry potter then to nando’s for dinner! it was a really nice afternoon =) the boys enjoyed themselves as well with the girls!! that evening was esther’s pampered chef party =) yummy food and us ladies drooling over all the kitchen stuff! very cool! i did make a few purchases and even andy told some things he thought we needed too!! bonus =) permission to spend! now we just have to wait for it to come!

friday we had jo with us for the day so while andy went tracting with a friend, we walked to the park with the boys, came back for lunch then went over to stratford! it was a gorgeous, hot day! we played on the green…tennis and baseball (though the grass was still pretty wet from all the recent rains!). we walked around a bit and saw some of the new features of stratford (i.e. a new bridge and new brickwork/pavement things…) we took the ferry across the river since the row boats weren’t available that day.august 047august 044 thankfully the ferry satisfied micah for the time being and then added ice cream to that and all were happy though tired! we enjoyed pizza hut for dinner then got jo to the airport and took ourselves home again. saturday we did a few odd jobs and then went to the lickey’s for some play time and time at the park.

sunday i did some cooking and baking while my lovely hubby played with the boys, keeping them entertained with trains and farmyards outside in the garden! oh and making and painting flags!!
